Job Description:
  • Being an advocate for the user and have an innate ability to translate customer needs into scalable, effective UI design with a propensity towards simplification
  • Developing/Co-developing a reusable, adaptable UX pattern library and style guide for use across our product line to ensure consistency that will sustain an iterative optimization process and future growth
  • Creating and maintaining screen wireframes, mock ups, process flows, site maps, navigation system, screen prototypes and conceptual models to clarify and refine new product solutions
  • Taking the final visual design and work with Dev Ops to integrate and release the HTML / Mobile UI to production
Requirements:
  • Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, colour theory and typography, information design, and visual hierarchy; understands the building blocks of a great user experience.
  • Familiarity with different interface types (Web, Mobile) and related design guidelines/patterns, awareness and understanding of material design guidelines is a strong plus.
  • Expertise in the standard design tools, e.g. Photoshop, CorelDraw, Illustrator, Axure, Experience Design (XD)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centric design solutions.
  • Should also be able to do mobile app designs
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team to prepare HTML pages and create the best possible user experience for both web and mobile versions
  • Must have good experience working with various wireframes and converting them into responsive web pages
  • Create rapid UI prototypes as needed for evaluation
  • Should have worked on at least a few mobile applications and designed the UI Front-end development for them
  • Exposure to Responsive Design is a must
